Add Comfort Access to 2011 X5 50i Msport
has anyone added Comfort Access to an X5 or another BMW? I purchased a 2011 X5 50i M sport today, with just about every option available, only to find out today at pickup that it doesn't have comfort access. Still can't believe it. I've had comfort access for many years on my last 4 BMWs, one of the greatest inventions. and with a sticker price of $83k its amazing it doesn't have comfort access
anyway, i gotta add this. any input would be appreciated. Otherwise, after just a few mls of driving, i love it. Escpecially the Nappa leather |
You'd have to retrofit the door handles, and the antennas in the front and rear. I'm not even sure if there is a specific module that you would need to add, in addition to the retrofit coding
|
For the coding portion, you need to add $322 to the VO. That's the code for Comfort Access. It has been done before by a handful of people. Goodluck:

Seriously? :dunno: To OP, it can be done, but is very cost prohibitive, unless you source parts cheaply from a wreck or smthg, but even so you'll need new CA remotes, and they alone are $$$. |
