2013 X5 35d order and production timeline

Friends, just thought I'd contribute my ongoing order timeline because I have searched for and seen many requests for this kind of information.

17 Dec 2012: order placed w/deposit
19 Dec 2012: production number received and "order documented" status on website
16 Jan 2013: web site status now shows "production begins" and phone status check said estimated completion date is 24 Jan 2013

Future updates as events warrant.

Really nice of BMW giving updates. Are all the 2013 come with the new LED lights?

LED Halo's ? They became standard equipment in 2011.

Mine just came in and was disappointed to see non-LED Tail Lights.
