Looking for a 8 speed transmission
 

I'm on the hunt for an 8 speed transmission, it is not to replace a failed transmission but for R&D purposes. I'm flexible on the model year, I can work with '11 and up.

I don't have any idea where to find something such as a complete transmission.. it's proven difficult to find. Any pointers are certainly appreciated. Apologies in advance if this should of been posted in another section.

I would think that buying a wreck would be the easiest way to get one.

I strongly recommend it! The transitions are very smooth, and when I switch to paddles it's amazing! 8 speeds means that you can always find the ideal speed, and the ideal exhaust note ;) I also recommend the paddles if they are not on your list, feels like a completely different beast with them! Very addictive!
