Just a hunch. Btw reading forums isn't training.

Um... isn't this the blog where your supposed to "come for the information, but stay for the friendships?". I'm personally interested in what everyone has to say whether your a fellow owner or former tech. Just sayin....

BTW, reading this got me thinking. My X5 does stay in sport mode once the button is activated until I turn it off. I generally keep it on unless I have passengers in the car which I do for work frequently. My care also has active rear suspension, which I beleive only works when sport mode is activated. Now, on my wife's E60 5 series, the sport and sport+ mode actually DO default back to normal every time the ignition is switched off. These are activated by either a slide switch on the console, or thru the i-drive, so it's pretty easy to turn on and off. Not shocking, but interesting that one model does default to off and another stays one. Different lawyers maybe?

Like I said I was thinking of the wrong model. Owner or former tech... That's funny!

Btw I have more seat and diagnostic time on e70 than you do in the years of your ownership. So being a know it all, I kinda earned it w BMW Na. Next time u feel that you want to be a d..k save the energy and do something constructive.

You'd almost think that with all that E70 seat and diagnostic time you'd have known that the sport mode actually doesn't deactivate itself upon ignition.

Don't bother feeding into it. You're just going to waste your time. Ask me how I know.

Speaking of degrees, clearly you're lacking one. Actually, it seems as though you didn't even pass third grade English. Your spelling and grammar have been terrible throughout this entire thread. Don't go making fun of people about their supposed lack of education when you, yourself, aren't able to form a proper sentence.

Not saying I'm perfect, nor am I a grammar Nazi, but at least I try to put clear posts together.
