Execuhitch/Invisihitch and coding
I just installed a hitch made by Execuhitch after extensive research on this and other forums. It was installed on a 2012 X5 3.5i M-Package. I wanted to say I am very pleased by the quality, design, and size of the hitch. The installation only took 3 hours, most of it spent taking off the rear bumper cover because I did not want to damage it. The BMW OEM wiring harness was easy and straight forward to install.
I was lucky enough that TRIPL_O was in town yesterday and he coded the vehicle for the hitch to include the rear camera zoom feature. He also coded many of the other features that I wanted unlocked. I am so glad I can close the rear hatch without getting out of the vehicle like my 7 Year old van! Bottom line: I highly recommend Execuhitch and TRIPL_O coding. I have the 2013 X5 M-Sport as well and am going for the invisihitch. How long did it take to arrive from order to doorstep? I will probably wait until May timeframe to install.

I ordered it on a Wed, and at my door on Sat. FEDEX Ground. 3 Days

I ordered mine for 2011 X5M in June and got it in late July. This took 1.5 months including 1 week shipping to Canada. Just had it installed. However the installer did not eant to do coding so I am dealing with it now with Bimmeramerica. Their coding is included in the hitch price. Coding/downloading, extracting, installing, running software is more burdensome then I would like. If you have an option ask your hitch installer do codimg for you. You will save yourself major headache.
