AIR MASS Flow METER
 

Gents,

The mechanical has advised me today to quickly replace my air mass flow meter as it will impact fuel consumption and gradually the whole gear box performance.
The problem is that this part# 13627548103 is not available except with the main dealer who sell it with triple the price on the net.
While am searching, I found some aftermarket parts which I need to get your advice if anyone has ever tried them?

To get yourself out of emergency situations an aftermarket will suffice BUT don't recommend for the long haul.

i learned from another forum that MAF can be cleaned .. tried it but didnt clean it very well, worked for one day but throttling returned back, now am going to clean the sensor properly ... it seems to work rather than paying 400+ for a new one
