Corona Ring Color
Does anyone know the temperature of the new LCI corona rings? I am looking at getting the LUX V3's but would like to match what the factory is putting out. LUX offers a 6500k and 5000k version.
Thanks for the assistance. |
I have the 5000k LUX V3. It's white but a warmer white. 6500k is too blue for my taste.

Anyone else have any comments. |
There are others out there if you look that are as good as LUX's with the same brightness for less than half the price. Same CREE Leds as well.
LUX fanboys need not reply on my comment. 6K is generally where you want to be with the color. There are 6500K bulbs that are brighter white without much of the blue. I have seen 8K lights that are diamond white with no hints of blue. It's all in the quality and marketing. |

I bought the 6500K LUX kit after trying two other competitors products without satisfaction. I was also afraid that the color would be too blue but they really are not. I was going to wait for the 5K's to get back in stock but bought the 6500's since they are currently on sale. I highly recommend the LUX H8 kits. Very nice.

Guess it is no longer a concern, V4 is now adjustable. Thanks all for your inputs!

Wow that looks beautiful TLS - where did you buy the kits? Can you please link me? I would like to purchase and do this

atreidy, just google LUX V3 or v4. Also, see my other post on the new v4's, they are color adjustable.
