What color wheels looks good on Alpine White???
 

I finally picked my favorite wheel design but now i'm stuck on a color choice.

Any Alpine White owners have pics of their colored wheels? I was thinking gloss black but every photo I find on google looks like crap. I'm guessing the white of the car throws the camera's internal light meter to underexpose the car while further underexposing the black wheels. Basically, all black wheels & tire lacks detail in the pics in this high contrast setup.

Really deciding between: Glossy Black, 30% Matte Black, Anthracite (gray), or chrome.

black wheels on alpine always look very aggressive

^ Nice. I think these are matte black. I found another angle of the same car you posted.

Now, in theory, a gloss black wheel will look like matte black after a couple of miles of brake dust right?

the pictures i believe they are more like a gun metal? but to answer your question No a gloss wheels will not look matte black with dust. it would just look dirty. specially if they are power coated, they are sooo Black is amazing.

I have two guys in my club with black wheels, X5M with matte black and X5,5.0 M sport with Power coated gloss black

I like them both, if you are not sure I would say get the gloss, plasti dip them matte and see which on you want to stick with. either way you would be able to switch depending on what you want.

I personally like Blue Dragon's wheels. color and style.

For that style.. i'd probably pick anthracite over chrome or black.

Like I haven't been lusting after an X5M enough already.

loving the gun-metal with the outer rim left silver (or maybe it's the lighting). Don't like too dark on white.

I was leaning towards anthracite till I saw some on a white car today. A lot of stock wheels are gray in color to begin with. Therefore, do I want to spend thousands on a wheel that's the same color as my stocker? :dunno:
