Okay To Drive X35d Missing Oil Cap?

Not sure how long it's been missing. Oil level is fine and no oil in compartment. I won't have a replacement for three days. Is it okay to drive?

Not rec'd on any car, for very long.

I would carefully duct tape/tape over the oil cap opening, fully sealing the orifice...
Maybe hit a local auto parts store for a cheap azz replacement or a cap that sort of fits?

learned this recently with a friend. Was driving into town and started
noticing smoke from the hood and what appeared oil spray on the
windshield. Well soon as could get over and opened the hood. It was
covered in oil. Cap gone. So guess depends on the car. This was
a friends Ford. So drove on into town and got a cap and degreasing of
the engine
