Rear Entertainment - DVD problem
 

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem with the rear entertainment system not being able to read "dual-layer" DVDs. Based on my searches I'm pretty sure this is unique to me but I'm stumped on how to solve the problem.

I'm not sure if "dual-layer" is the right term, but basically if the DVD has two barcodes imprinted around the inner ring then it gives the error "Disc cannot be read" - if it has just one barcode than the DVD will play just fine.

Any ideas? I didn't find any improvement even with the latest vehicle software updated.

I don't have any issues with mine but I didn't notice a difference in bar codes.
