Last E70 X5 made on June 28 in Titanium Silver

From the press release posted here

The final second-generation X5 Sports Activity Vehicle was produced at BMW’s South Carolina plant on Friday, June 28. The Titanium Silver Metallic 4.4-liter, 400-hp V8 engine BMW X5 xDrive50i with Sand Beige Perforated Nevada Leather and M Sport Package will become part of the permanent BMW historic car collection. Between September 2006 and June 2013, the plant in Spartanburg produced 728,107 second-generation X5 models, making this model series the best-selling in the history of the plant.

Wow almost 3/4 of a million E70s! Not bad Spartanburg!

Typical and see thousands on the road every day. I like things
unique that are different from other people. Why would not
get a F15 and go with Range Rover. Its BMW bland
color selections.

When I did the X5 factory tour, the lady giving the tour asked everyone to guess which is most used paint color? Most thought black. Titanium silver is one color most X5s, X3s are made in. Maybe that's why they chose silver:dunno: and its staying with them anyway.

Never been a silver guy but I sure see tons of them. Sounds like I need to tour the factory sometime. Actually I need to purchase the F15 and pick it up there!

Doesn't look like Titanium Silver Metalic is an option on the F15 either, so maybe another reason they chose it for the last E70...

surprised... I see blacks and whites around here, but very few silver. I think it looks great with the aero kit and the 214s.
