I still have warranty and my choice was to evac and refill with freon with dye and check for leaks. If no leaks was found then I have to pay for the refill.

At that point I was pretty much stuck. Hoping a leak would be found but they said no. I called BMW NA and informed them about the situation. I got the we will document this incident garbage but unfortunately they can't do anything and will stand by what their dealer finds.

Lot of BS if you ask me but I plan to run the heck out of this AC and do a pressure test.
