Looks like Truffle Brown to me.

Was truffle brown available on 09 x5?

Good question. When I was researching purchasing my E70, I came across that color every so often and saw it listed as many different colors such as: Chocolate (obviously wrong), saddle, etc.

I could not find the color on any E70 brochures and figured it was an "individual" or special order color. Anyway, I love it but could not find that leather color along with a fully optioned X5.

Also, it seams Truffle Brown is a E53 color that I have never seen on an E70.

That is nevada saddle brown (LUD3) per the VIN query.

So is the color in question a caramel colored brown or a rich dark brown? If it is dark brown, I believe it is called tobacco. I have it in my X5 and I love it with the dark bamboo trim.

Sorry to thread jack, but what headrests are those on the seats in the picture? The look far superior in comfort to the ones in my 07 4.8 with sport seats. They are uncomfortable because the top of the headrest cant be tilted forward. would they be able to be retrofitted into a MY07 e70?

Those are comfort seat headrests.

Do you know if they can be retrofitted and what kind of hassle it would be to get them onto sports seats? My headrests are electronic. I am guessing the ones on the comfort seats would be the same. I am not new to BMW's, but the e70 is a quantum leap over my e36 m3 and the wifes e46 touring
