E70 Wheels Fitting Advice?

1 Attachment(s)
I'm looking to buy this set locally for $700, tread depth 7/32. Will this fit my E70? Correct me if I"m wrong, this is E53's wheels right?

If it will not fit, he said he has an adapter which he is selling for $100.

53 viewers and no response? Any advice will help.

They look like e70 wheels.
Are these 20"?
What tire size is on them?

these are the style 214s for E70 just coated black. If they are OEM they are fine for size. Price seems too low for OEM though. Replica 20s usually just fit fine anyway.

Tough to tell from photo's if they are OE or not..should be staggered if they are (though if they are second set they may be square if owner wanted them that way)....I agree they are priced WAY too low to be OE...I spent more on tires!

Fronts: 245/40R20
Rears: 315/35R20

How do I verify if they are oem or replica? Should I look for some type of BMW engraved inside the wheels?

Either you posted the wrong front tire size or that guy has wrong front tire fitment on the fronts.

Front tires should be 275/40/20. Style 214 is an E70 style so I'm guessing they would fit the E70 no problems, E53's probably need a hub centric ring to go from 74.1 - 72.56 center bore.

Take a pic of the letterings on the inside of the spokes, that will tell you whether OE or replicas. However, like others have said, price is way low for an OE set.

The only other issue is if they were on an X6 (E71) as the bore of the rears (?) is different (smaller IIRC) than on an E70. My mind is mush right now but I know there is a difference in bore size between E70 and E71/72

OEM would have a 7 digit part #.
Replicas will have just wheel size, may be offset and JWL stamp.

Correct x6,X6M, X5M all have 72mm vs the E70 74mm rear bore, the fronts are all 74mm. You can get adapters to fit those wheels to the E70 rears, the other way to fit 74 to 72mm just requires a hub ring.

$700 is dirt cheap for OEM.

I just got some replica 336'sfrom ebay for $800.

OEMs go for $2500+

My OEM 336s will be for sale:)
