Did you always use the dealer to do the work? I know WD is very much wary of dealers taking advantage of warranty companies such as over-quoting prices and including parts replacements that aren't necessary. WD will only approve up to what's in their own book which is what the industry also uses. If it's something shady I'd certainly like to hear about it.

First off, any dealer can sell you the warranty. Talk to the finance guy and see what deal he offers. I emailed about 10 and was able to spend much less than the "standard" price my dealer quoted me. Second, I have found that peace of mind and resale of a vehicle still under warranty has made it worth every penny. I have only had about $900 in repairs that were covered so far. But ultimately I wouldn't have driven the E70 without it. Hope that helps you out a little....
