Confused on angel eye bulbs

Hey guys, I did do a search before posting this, looking to get the whiter/brighter bulbs for 2008 X. What in everyone's opinion is the best way to go. Just want a replacement bulb no extra wiring ;)

Thanks

"bulbs" will be plug and play (H8) and you have several options from $17 GP thunders to $250 Leds and anything in between... just keep in mind due to the flaw design of the AE the outer ring will never look fully lighted during the day.

after seeing quite a few stock E70s in my area with nice whiter angel eyes i called my local BMW and asked about different bulbs because mine are very dim and the ugly 90's stock colour.
the lady i spoke to at first didn't even know what angel eyes were so after i referred to them as rings she said they upgraded them to ones that are whiter.
haven't had extra money to go down and check if any of this is true but im hoping so because they looked very nice.
