335i to X5 50i
 

Hey all. Just picked up a slightly used X5 to replace my 09 335i. It's a 2012 with 25K miles, Premium, Premium Sound, Tech Pkg, Lane Departure, MSport etc.

I'm in Maryland, the car was in Georgia and I had it shipped up. Got it on Saturday. So far, I am loving it. Obviously not as quick as my tuned 335i but I am looking at the various tunes available for the N63. If I can get it into the 12s, I'll be happy.

Went from a 2010 335i to a 13 x5d. I like the X5 so much better. More
room, seats more comfortable, higher up, all ++++ so far. As far as
speed was not a point, don't go anyplace that 0-60 is much concern.

Congrats. Give BMS a shout they have a stage1 that takes 10 minutes to install. I installed mine a few weeks ago and it was very simple and easy to install. Taking it and my 135 to MIR on Sunday.

Yeah, I had a JB4 from day 1 (ok, day 5) in my 335i. Terry's tune is similar to the JB+ for N54/N55 in that it just fools the TPMS sensor to get a couple more pounds of boost. I've been lobbying him to do a full JB4 for the N63 but I guess the demand just isn't there despite it being in many models.

Anyway, going to pick one up at the end of the month and put it in. I'll do some back to back GTech runs since nobody has really documented the performance gains on an X5.
