2007 X5 Navi CCC Software Update?

This navigation is slow as molasses and the rear camera quality is pathetic (grainy). Was there ever a software update? I would love to upgrade this to a CIC but I think investing into my X5 would be a waste. Any affordable suggestions to improve the speed and camera quality?
