Any input on non OEM Air Dprings?

I need to replace the air springs on my 2008 X5. I usually stick with OEM parts but I was in the auto parts store the other night and out of curiosity checked the price of air springs there. They carried Arnott springs:

https://www.arnottindustries.com/par...21_pid198.html

the price was pretty much the same but they have a lifetime warranty so (presumably) if these fail in another 5 years / 60k miles I could get them replaced.

I'm changing these out myself so the warranty is definitely appealing but I don't want to regret going non OEM either.

If it's lifetime warranty then get it. It can be easily removed and exchanged if ever it breaks.:2thumbs:

That's the way I'm thinking but was curious if anyone had any experience with them good or bad.

I went to my Indy and asked and he highly recommended the Arnott over OEM. He said they're better and cheaper. You can buy them from arnott's eBay page and save on the shipping since they ship free from eBay. So essentially $400 flat for the set

Thanks! I feel much better now about the fact that I ordered the Arnott's this afternoon. The local O'reilly's sells them for $204 and I'll have them tomorrow by 1pm.

Hopefully I'll have the time to install them tomorrow evening. It looks pretty easy << famous last words
