How to get the active DEF tank out

So my CEL is the temp sensor in the DEF and so now I need to get it out so I can fix, I can't find anything on the net so was wondering if anyone knows how or can shed some light on it.

I am also looking into having to remove the active DEF tank. Are you also getting the P205B code? How often do you get the code? Mine will only come on when the car is at a certain temperature.

I have a different code but I think it is the same thing, temp sensor.

Well first happened driving home from buying it on the first cold morning, 3-5C degrees so not cold but colder than the other days of the trip.

The light was one and zero issues for the next 1000 miles then while crossing the border I stopped at customs so I shut it off, when I got back out I got a reduced power message that went away and all was good, over the next 500km the reduced power came on more often till the point where it was hard to do 90k.

I drove home and parked it, 2900km drive and I was not in the mood to open the hood. That was 2 weeks ago and the light has never gone off the whole time but the reduced power has not come back on either. Its has been 10C and -32C in this 2 week time and no issues.

On Saturday I pulled the codes and cleared them, this code popped up again right away but the light was off, the light was off for only 1 day then back on but still no issues.

I filled both tanks and I am hoping it will go away, the car I bought sat for 4 months before I bought it so I am hoping the sensor is just dried up and will get better. But I am not going to just hope and dream, I will pull the tank and change the sensor so the stupid light goes out.
