New LED turn signal bulbs installed

I ordered a pair of the redesigned LED's from bimmian in amber and have to say these LED's rock. They were simple to install, produce NO warnings on the idrive, have not flickered once on vehicle startup, produce at lease three times more light than the stock incandescent bulbs, and we're reasonably priced at the current sale price of $54.00. In addition, they look much more modern than the last two pairs I tested plus they have a lifetime warranty. I usually don't review mods I add to my X but these deserved the thumbs up

How did you go about installing them? Did you have to remove the headlight assembly?

The bulbs are easily accesible from the top.

They come in white and amber. The white are rated at 8 times brighter but flashing white lights for turn signals is illegal in most states so I went with the amber to stay legal and consistent. I have noticed that these are bright enough to reflect off of traffic signs and other cars. Almost like the stock LED front turn signals on the newer 5 series sedans.

So now that we know which bulbs work well, how the heck do I replace them ! Does not look as easy as I thought.

Here is a link to a video that may help.

Just did it. TLS pm'ed me some great tips. Wiggle the plastic holder out carefully after turning it counter clockwise. Re-insertion is tricky because if not done perfectly the blub drops off the holder and into the socket. My right arm is scratched up and swollen. Lol

Glad you got it done without any major hiccups. I think I would rather have the scratches on my arm heal rather than damage something on the headlamp assembly or lose the bulb inside the fender cavity or headlamp assembly.
How do you like the bulbs now that they're installed? Would you say they were worth it ?
