X5 with M Sport package but no badges...??
Hi all,
Basically I have an '08 X5 3.0sd SE. I have always known it looked more like an m sport than an SE as it is completely coloured coded - no black bumpers. Did a bit more research and it appears to definitely have the m sport styling - flaired arches, body coloured bumpers, silver roof rails and more aggressive bumper styling. Only weird thing is, there isn't a single m sport badge on the thing. Only had one previous owner who had it spec'd from the factory. Have looked through the original catalogue but can't find an optional extra which would make sense for this. Any ideas anyone? Any help much appreciated, Shep |

Hopefully the pictures work and can give you an idea of what I'm talking about. Cheers

where can I get the front and rear bumpers like that?

the M sport doesn't have any badges stating so, other than maybe steering wheel and gear lever with M logo thats all. could have been special order with the outside cosmetics only.

More than likely the previous owner de-badged it or did a model designation delete on the order which took the X5 off the back and 3.0 SD off the sides.
I de-badge all my vehicles as I like a cleaner look and hate dealing with wax around all the lettering. |
Thanks for the replies guys. As you said 3.0sd isn't there too so maybe he did try keep it clean.

M-Sport was an option so run your VIN through this site: BMW Baureihenarchiv · BMW Vehicle Identification Number Decoder · bmwarchiv.de
....and see if it shows the package. |
It looks to me like the previous owner just painted all of the plastics.
