Rear End Leak

I noticed a small spot of liquid on the garage floor yesterday. Looking under my 2011 X5 35i with 65k and no warranty, I noticed the bottom of the rear end wet with fluid. Any sugestions? I do have maintenance till 6yr/100k but don't think this will be maintenance covered.

Transfer case? Differential?
It would take less time to get under and take a look than to write here. ))

Rear end, meaning: rear axle, not back half of the vehicle. Would have said pumpkin, as this is my first vehicle with full independent rear suspension, I didn't think that term applied.

Differential is the work you looking for, pumpkin is what they do in the south or the part that goes in the housing or what you make into pies.

So could be the axle seals or cover or maybe even the plug I guess.
