Check if they did the EGR bracket recall as well. I would be suspicious that they cracked something around the silver pipe going to the EGR while doing all the repairs...

This "coincidence" seems to me quite a stretch!

They are related.The cooler has to be moved out of the way for the EGR to be replaced.It the tech is not careful he may damage it.
