Three weeks, and the OP hasn't been back since his first post. Probably safe to say he's moved on.
To the OP, if you are still here, my only comment is that at that price you are buying a vehicle that isn't comparatively cheap to maintain, and for which the initial cash outlay is only the start. If you go ahead, find a good independent mechanic, and budget for maintenance. Inspection should cover suspension, fluid leaks, tire wear, and a test drive. Don't worry about the previous owner following the scheduled maintenance schedule, that's fine, but do worry about a vehicle that has had a lifetime of short trips. That is brutal on these vehicles.
