i recently moved to LA from NYC. i had no idea that LA drivers will challenge you to race if you drive aggressively or pass them with any sort of speed. in the last month since ive had my ESS tuned 50i E70 on the highways of LA i've driven aggressively to see what ive got under the hood. in that time ive been challenged many times by cars and bikes alike. every car has been crushed and not one bike has beaten me until we encounter traffic. anyone else in LA experience this phenomenon? i've hear about LA street racing. is this an off shoot?

Dont know bout LA, but when i head up to the city, on the highways people will always try to race me in my chevelle which is just dumb on their part lol, same with my big ole 2010 ford F-350 6.4 powerstroke. I think the people in LA would hate me because i would smoke em both literally and figuratively.

So - Im curious - how do you like the ESS tune for your 5.0 engine? Ive been thinking about the same

Did you do the flash yourself or go to a ESS dealer?

interesting. what does the chevelle have under the hood?

muddy, so far i love the tune. the most notable feature is the sudden acceleration. i have an e53 4.4 that i used to think was pretty fast. my tuned e70 blows it away. i recently used a G-timer to measure 0-60 and max HP. 0-60 came in at 4.6secs and max HP was 549. i dont know what those numbers would be on the stock 50i. since im in socal i had eas motorsports install the tune but i could have done it myself. its very easy. this video gives you an idea of the improved torque. each time you see the camera suddenly move back is because the g-forces knocked over the trip pod which was wedged and buckled into the front seat. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf4s9en1_pY

Vincenzo, its a 454 ls6. It out about just as much HP as my lambo and ferrari F40

just checked it out on wikipedia. that baby has a lot of torque as well. must be a lot of fun to drive.

Oh ya, shes a beauty and a powerhouse. Absolutely no rust, long tube headers with dual outlet straight pipe exhaust, chrome valve covers with breathers, edelbrock 4 barrel carb, turbo 400 trans, TONS of modifications il have to list em up soon. Im bout to start workin on my new Lamborghini and put some power behind it.

very nice! the lambo needs more power behind it? wow, where do plan on driving it? lol

lol im gonna modify it to go against my dads gallardo, his has some serious power and that new exhaust, words just cannot describe it lol.
