Looking for this type of headrest

Hello,

I don't like my current headrests and would like to purchase these; does anyone know where I can locate used ones or what the part # is?

Looking for it in the beige/tan color.

Nobody?

Call a few wreck yards, there's plenty of them in Cali. Not guaranteed they will sell you a piece of a seat (the yards like to sell seats as whole), but won't hurt to try..

I did check but it's hard to tell because the Sport referenced headrest and the standard base show the same picture.

Those are Active headrests, they have explosion element that is pushing the front part forward in case of a rear end collision,to keep your head straight. They are the same for all type of seats. They are usually replaced after such an accident.I will ask around some bodyshops that I work with, some may have a set recently replaced.

Thank you so much! I'm in NorCal but travel down south frequently. Appreciate your help!

a new set lists for $850... pretty expensive for something you may never use... i wanted to swap out mine because they have the m badge embossed on them and i would prefer the same adjustable comfort headrest but without the badge but for $850 i can live with it.

I am sure someone is dreaming to swap regular headrests for yours :D

I'm less concerned with the explosion safety feature, more with the fact that the current headrests don't actually work. You have to lean your head so far back in order to rest your head against them, they are kind of pointless and almost seem like they aren't there. I'll try to take a picture of them later, but I want something that my head rests against in the normal driving position; gawd I sound like a naggy little b**ch.
