turning off split screen is grayed out when you try to do it from the reverse screen.

turning off split screen in general has no effect on this screen.

Turning off PDC also doesn't do it...

Perhaps it can't be done... Seems like a waste of space...

this is my mother's 2011 e90. Apparently there is an aftermarket reverse camera on it. I love that this is full screen--much more useful.

In my '09 CCC iDrive X5 with OEM reverse camera under the mavouvering aids setting there are a multitude of options available for you to choose when you put the car in reverse. I've put a picture in of the settings menu, don't know if it's much use to CIC but I can't see why they would take out this feature.
