E70 Rear Air Strut problem

1 Attachment(s)
I think my right side rear air strut is leaking air. After car is parked for 48 hours one side gets fully deflated ( see pic ). After I drive the car for 3 min its levels out. ECU do not have any error codes. Time to change both air struts ? My car is 08 4.8i with 93K miles.

i do not have air suspension but i hear they have these problems pretty common.
they actually make airsuspension delete kits so that you can revert to a no-service spring.

And some are praying for rear air suspension :yikes:
I will gladly provide coil springs and buy someone's removed air suspension ;)

i was just wondering what would be needed for airsuspension.
besides needign the compressor i wonder what other modules and coding is needed

I just bought mine from getbmwparts. Did the switch in about an hour and that is with a break for a cup of coffee between left and right. :-) There are good threads and some video as well to show how it is done.

I would do both sides now, 90k is respectable for a set of bags.

one of your bags is bad. looks like driver side.
there are at least two write ups on how to replace air spring (one by me).

but certainly, you could go coil over or put it on bags.
