What did you do to your E70 Today!!!???

I saw a similar thread for the E53, thought we should have the same one for E70. I feel a bit left out.
I'll start.

5/22/14 - Black grill (turnermotorsports), red interior leds (superbrightleds.com) H&R lowering springs to come next week.

Really? Nobody did anything to their E70 that they are proud off over the weekend? ..

Well I washed my X5 and 335 and took them out for a small photo shoot. Let me know what you think.

mkurniawansyah 05-27-2014 01:57 AM

Drive it to work as always, 90km each way. Cruise set at 120kph. Mainly straight highway, no twisty road. Get sleepy sometimes. :D

jiigan 05-27-2014 02:34 AM

When I said what did you do to your x5 I didn't mean how far did you drive.. :loco:

mkurniawansyah 05-27-2014 02:40 AM

sorry couldn't help it

I'm still planning to get style 214 for mine and retrofit arch extension. Maybe after this searing summer is over.

But what if we did the work last weekend?? :dunno: :bustingup

Nope, nothing here, but I do have a new set of staggered 20's in my garage waiting on me to put some rubber on them, just 2 coates of Jet Seal on the wheels for now, but have too much work to do with other projects to get to the X at the moment.

Wife managed to scratch the rear bumper, excuse for me to have the plastic painted in body color.
The X is going to the shop tomorrow.

Just drove it to work today, but will drive it off a cliff any day now because all these repairs are really getting on my nerves.

Thanks! Here's a quick pic of the lady's cars. Never thought that my X5 would be in the shop/out of commission then both of her cars combined.

jiigan 05-27-2014 02:42 PM

Very nice, i like the blacked out look. X5 are horrible with maintenance.

jiigan 05-29-2014 12:20 PM

Installed H&R lowering springs 1.2" drop. It dropped it exactly 1.2" not any lower as some others have experienced.

Just bought an JBD chip tune for the X5D. :zoom:

jiigan 05-29-2014 03:17 PM

What will the chip do?

60HP more to the wheels and 100 torque.

Gain up to 60+ horsepower and up to 100+ torque to the wheels by simply adding the JB Diesel (JBD) with no other modifications. In addition to power and torque gains throttle response is dramatically improved.

awesome

MudyOvl 05-29-2014 03:52 PM

Let us know how the JBD chip install goes and how the seat of the pants performance increases feel. I am thinking about doing this as well, if not the Chip from ChipExpress in the UK.

I was looking now for a while into the RaceChip ultimate.
However there are so many great reviews for the JBD, I had to buy it when someone listed the FS add in another forum before. :D

I'll write a review when installed.

Please.. it seems as though we do not write enough reviews and diys on this forum. Hoping to change that..

I have been looking at both but this is for the N55 and not sure what direction to go just yet. :dunno:

Oh, forgot.
- new 25mm Wheel spacers in the rear.
- Front 15mm Wheel spacers should come soon. (out of stock all over the place)
- Bought a set OEM 21" style 128 Wheels what sit in my garage and waiting for front spacers.
- Black kidney grille in the mail.

However, I just got the 214's new with new tires and Wife prefers the 214 style. I want to see the extreme concave of the 128's. The 214 look so small next to the 128's.

No pics since X is in the shop.
