Snow Performance Meth Kit

Has anyone ever installed a Snow meth kit on a 50i E70? If so, would you mind sharing your experience with it? I'm seriously considering having a stage 3 kit installed.

What is the purpose? If only for cooler intake temps that is just fine.If you want to have a tune that is accounting for the meth as additional fuel you may want something more reliable and with a proven failsafe built in.

i just asked roman at ess if the lower intake temp would be detected by the tune and allow the engine to deliver additional safe HP. his response...YES.
the purpose of the installation is more HP. is there a better alternative to the snow kit available?

It will sure give you some extra ponies. You may want to look at Aquamist, that is the most sophisticated system,I am using one in my turbo track car. However in you case decreasing of the volume or even complete halt of the injection will not do harm as the DME will react in an instant.Snow must be Ok for you.I'd recommend 50:50 water/methanol as it has highest cooling effect.
On a hot 100F June day last year at Willow springs i had intake temps under 90F at times. But that is a different story.

You are running an ESS tune? What kit does Roman recommend??

In my experience it is always better when the tuner has had experience with the hardware...

yes i am. roman did not recommend a meth kit but did say i would safely benefit from the snow kit in terms of additional HP. check out this video. my interpretation is that your car will automatically sense the temp conditions and adjust accordingly.

I thought ESS tuning does not make any blower kit for E70. Does it?

Ah my bad, I thought you have Stage-3 of ESS Tuning:D
Would be wicked though.

I think I've read it somewhere that there is a 4.8 that gets a blower touch from ESS.

Anyway I'm sorry if this going off topic a bit.
