water coming in soaking rear passenger footwells

it looks like it's coming in through the top of the door seal where it goes across the bottom (as in pic) water seems to be pooling there after heavy rain any ideas ?

water drains are clogged in door, i forget where they are, a quick search should get you the answer.

drains or vapor barrier.

I had the vapor barrier go in an e39. A quick test is: with the door open, pour water on the outside of the window. You can use a garden hose or a pitcher. If you see water at the bottom of the door coming through between the door and the interior door card (leather trim), it's the vapor barrier. You will see little droplets form on the bottom of the leather door interior. This is what gets the carpet wet.

It could also be drains... but I'm not familiar with them on the E70 yet.
