Recommendations for Sport Fender Flares
 

Hello Fellas,

Well I got a set of 214 wheels at a great deal and now need to get some fender flares.

Can anyone recommend where to get them? I looked on ebay and the price is $199, looking for a reputable seller. Perhaps one that you have dealt with and with perfect fitment.

Weren't you the guy looking for an M Sport steering wheel some time back - I think you hit me up when I had mine for sale?

Between the steering wheel, the 20's you just bought, the fender flare search….it sounds like you shoulda just bought a Sport or M Sport model to begin with :dunno:

I'm just messin' with you…perhaps you found a deal you just couldn't pass up. Anyhow, somebody was selling a set of these recently on one of the X5 forums but I can't seem to find the post at the moment? If I find it I'll link you to it in this thread.

I am sure I hit you up if you were selling one... I am still interested in MSport or M steering wheel, it just needs to be priced right. Between the steering wheel and airbag I am almost at what I got the 214 for.

The wheels and tires was way to good of deal to pass up and it's on my to do list.

If you find the link it would be great I am seriously shopping around for the flares. I called the dealer yesterday and they wanted $540 for plastic arches, I almost laughed and hung up on the guy. I have read on here that they used to go for $150 and then the price just shot up! Just ridiculous for 4 plastic arches... :dunno:

BMW will sometimes do that - slash prices to clear out inventory. They did that with some of the BMW Performance parts for the E46. Now some of that stuff is twice the price as it once was just to limited quantity. Perhaps the wheels arches are the same story? The E70 is obviously out of production now, and I can't imagine they sell many of these wheels arches.

FWIW BMWMercedesparts.com has the arches for $107.16 each, so $428.64 for the set. A little better than the price you were quoted.

I seriously can't figure out where I saw where somebody was recently selling these. I checked all my usual spots and can't find it :(

Thanks for sharing, and those are great price. In the pictures they dont look like the sport flares.

In any case I was able to buy a set from a forum member.
