Valve cover gasket diy
 

I have an 07 E70 with a slight VCG leak and I'm looking forward to a DIY soon. I have all the parts on order. The main VCG and all the various gaskets that are needed for the cover as well as the 15 aluminum bolts. Can't find a DIY thread here but I'm using the TIS manual as well as reading up on the DIY from the 3 and 5 series forums. The one question I have for anyone who is familiar with this DIY is do I need any gasket sealant anywhere around the sealing surfaces? The TIS manual and other DIY don't mention this so I just want to double check and be sure.

Ha! A little more research right after posting this came up with a blog from fcp euro that had a comment answered with the fact that the N52 doesn't need gasket sealant. However, any additional info specific to this DIY on the E70 would be appreciated:)
