'11 x5 front cupholder question...
 

Just picked up a '11 E70 and every time I put a drink in the front left cupholder, the can would be kind of tilted. So I pulled up the rubber liner and there was this circular piece of plastic with a square hole, like a 3.8" socket drive, that was just rattling around there. It looks like it should twist down into the hole at the bottom of the cupholder, but there is no way it will fit. It is MUCH too deep and will not fit down in the hole so I cannot twist it into place. Anyone else seen this?

That is really interesting! The piece of plastic he shows in the video is the piece, but as you can see in my pics, there is no room for it to screw in. I am going to check the other side, maybe they got it reversed? odd... Thanks for the link/video!

No hole at all on the other side. Strange.... but it sure looks a lot like the video cover.
