KNOCKING NOISE FROM ENGINE cold morning
 

hi every1,

so i live in montreal, canada and past days been really cold like -30 celcius.
last week i turned car on to let it heat up as i park my X5 outside overnight and i heard this knocking noise ,... figured was cold so would be normal after driving it for 30 sec it went away.and then same thing this morning again this knocking noise coming from FRONT PASSENGER SIDE of engine. drove it a bit and again went away. 2008 bmw x5 3.0 liters ... .sounds like a diesel engine...lol
My brother says it does that on his 911 turbo 2012 if he parks ouside. not normal to me.
any ideas , suggestions ... plz see video

GOT TI CHECKED OUT AT GARAGE nothing wrong just normal apparently cause it is so cold also oil was leaking on seal somewhere got it replaced thanks every1
