some fuctard egged my car this afternoon. now if i was in florida i'd just take it to the car wash but being as i'm in NY and it being 28F and lower cant really do that. what are the consequences of having it sit there and what are my options for getting it off?
Consequence: ruined paint.
Find a carwash....got to be a heated one somewhere! Or drive south this weekend. |
Grab a bucket with some warm water to at least try to get as much off as possible. You then might want to get some soap and wash the area off and then more warm water to rinse it off.
Car wash it is. Supposed to be low single digits tomorrow. Ugh hate people!!! Love you guys though :)
Oh worst case scenario is there a way to restore the paint with a detail job or am I screwed?
Where in NYC are you, their are a couple of late night car washes that are heated. One off 21rst street in long island city near 38th ave.
Staten island
oh, you might be screwed then.. I don't know SI at all. Google power washers maybe, it's not cold enough for the water to just freeze automatically. It's cold but you can still wash it.
YAh I got a crap top of car washes around will have to see tomorrow what the deal is.
Any of them still open? The longer you let that sit, the more damage it does? Or like another said, hand wash it. And hope that karma gets those fucking douchebags back somehow..
