E70 Interior Trim Pieces $$$
 

I have an 07 3.0si that is missing 6 interior trim pieces that cover the ends of the seat rails front and back. I was so frustrated to search for them on realoem and see them listed for $5.44 then find them costing $30 or more a piece on most popular online parts stores. Other trim pieces I wish to replace around the seat like part number 10 on the diagram list for $19 but cost $60 online. Why the high price beats me. I've replaced these parts on my E60 and they were priced as listed on realoem.

RealOEM is not a good source for pricing BMW parts.I always find the part #s and the go to BMW of South Atlanta for a correct pricing.

Perhaps in 2007 it had a valid price, but it is never updated....

I see. It's just the first time I've come across pricing that was way more than shown on realoem. Previous experience I always find parts lower by checking the part number at the common online sources. Recently my main go-to has been thebmwpartstore.com and fcpeuro.com.

Near as I can tell, the data in realoem is updated from BMW etks of various years. If they have a recent update for the car you are looking for, and you happen to be looking a year after that update, prices may be close. Plus it isnt just older cars that have odd prices, just depends on when they grapped the MSRP parts for the website upload.

Try looking for 2003 E39 M5 parts...Id pay realoem prices day in and day out. Those MSRPs from 2006 look really good in 2014 :)
