Retrofitting e71 lci headlights

Has anyone tried to retrofit e71 lci headlights into an e70?
I've tried searching but couldn't find anything on this topic.

The E71 headlights will only directly swap into the E70 X5M, not the non-M E70.

you would need new fenders as the shape of the headlights are different.
plus a bunch of other electrical stuff

Thanks for the info guys!

It def looks a lot more aggressive but is it worth the hassle ?

You do the math. Add up the cost for new fenders, hood, front bumper cover, the headlights, upgrade wiring harness, plus the cost to repaint everything. In my opinion you'd be better of picking up the X5M then to go to all of this effort on a non-M X5.
