what does NAMY mean for seats?
 

im trying to buy a seat and the one i found is:
Leather nappa enhanced/mokka (NAMY)

my x5 is just the:
Leather nappa enhanced/mokka

are these the same?
they do look the same but i just want to be sure and that NAMY is throwing me off.

NAMY could stand for "Not All Model Years".

NAMY (as you already mentioned) is the code number for mocha nappa leather. This is the color code for the interior on my 2014 f15 X5.

You can check if this is what you have if you decode your VIN at one of the VIN decoding sites like www.bimmer.work or www.mdecoder.com

And you can also check one of the online part database sites (like bimmercat) that should list the offered leather material codes. I believe Dakota leather is LCMY (if you have mocha)…and Nappa leather is NAMY.
