Kief's 2015 X5 MSport Ordered

Hey guys, placed my wife's preliminary order this past Sat 9/20 (#111) and just got back from the dealer this morning 9/22 to confirm the order--now #112.
Begged my wife to go with Alpine White (to match my M4), but no go!:(
The following build:
X535i
MSport w/469Ms
Space Gray
Black Dakota leather
Fineline Oak trim
Driver Assistance
Adaptive M Suspension
Space-saver spare
Leather dashboard
I also have planned to get the M Performance Power Kit (MPPK) and M Performance Exhaust installed prior to delivery. I'm really excited to have 2 Bimmers back in the garage. We had a very short stint with Volvo (I mean short, like 2wks short--don't ask). My wife traded in her 2011 X5d with SAV pack w/20" for the Volvo. Honestly, we really should have just purchased the extended warranty on the E70 instead of her leaving the brand, but now she is back and with a better F15!
Anyone know which production wk this update will occur? "Oct production" is all I read
* Technical update for the 8-speed automatic transmission leading to better efficiency and faster acceleration:
* As of October 2014 production, there will be an engine displacement change on the N55 engine (X5 sDrive35i and X5 xDrive35i) that increases displacement from 2979 cubic centimeters to 3001 cubic centimeters

Kief,
Stats read like a nice car...so was the X that got turned into a Volvo. ;)

I wonder if that is really an engine displacement change/enlargement or just a redo of the cc displacement to suddenly make it a 3 liter+ vs almost 3 liter?

None of my biz, but just curious what that car with those options goes for vs MSRP?

I emailed my "contact" at the factory to get the scoop. I'll post back when/if I hear anything.

Sorry Dave, what are you asking?
Our 2011 X5d was traded in for the Volvo

The Volvo went for msrp $61825 (only 120 coming here--no negotiating--although I know where you can pick up a used one!). However, I did get $2k more for my X5d...

Thanks. I just didn't think a whole new block or change to get a few more CCs would make sense, esp with the Fed engine/trans cert regs here. I suspect the engineers 'found' a few more CCs.

Was just poking, that it evolved/traded in for the Volvo. No dis intended.

Was curious what your new X will go out the door for.

No worries mD. No offense with the Volvo--believe me! Yeah, the 2011 X5d morphed into a Swedish Meatball. After all is said and done, I added $6k to the bill. But considering the F15 is several grand more, it was worth the $$$ loss

BTW, here is a pic regarding the displacement discussion. This guy took a pic of his Sept build. What's interesting is that the Bulletin noted 3001ccm and his clearly notes 3004ccm Attachment 64429
