Wheels

Can anyone tell me if E70 wheels fit F15's? Got an F15 ordered!

Maybe with diff TPMSs, maybe with other mods...hard to tell from this previous thread:

Thank you for the response as well as the link. Just returned from CA where I got to visit the Mulllin Museum and take in the Bugatti exhibit. The cars are absolutely stunning!

They will fit, the difference is the TPMS. BMW changed the TPMS sensors from the E70 to the F15 models.

If you put E70 TPMS sensors in F15 wheels they will work on an E70 as well as putting F15 TPMS sensors into E70 wheels.

I literally just validated this over the weekend as I'm looking for some F15 20" wheels for my 2013 E70.

Hijacking my own thread.... Opinions please regarding selecting 20 inchers versus the 19's that come with the M Sport.

M Sport comes with 20" wheels (Style 469M), at least mine did. It wouldn't be a M Sport without them - highly recommended.

I went with 19" O.Z. wheels for my winter setup which worked out well.

New F15 is expected by the end of the month. It's coming with 19" wheels. I have the choice of keeping one set of wheels from my E70, the OEM 18 inchers or another set of 19's. So now I know I'll need to get new TPM sensors. So aside from condition, is there a compelling reason to use either size for the winter Blizzaks? Generally smaller is considered better, (and the price for 18 inch tires is considerably better as well) but I obviously have the opportunity to use the same size.

My vote is for the 18s with the dedicated snows: will go through stuff and stick like a Dall sheep.

Winter in Mass: no one is looking for curb appeal vs practicality and ease of getting around safely, imo.
