It looks more like foam then an actual plastic mold to me. If it really was a mold for the new interior they would not go through the trouble to put the E70's vents under it.
iDrive is not missing. Its simply a car equipped without navigation - hence the smaller screen. Exactly like on the E70.
BMW will shave costs by making the center stack of this dashboard identical to that found on the E70. |
