X6 seen saturday..... sorry no pics

So, I was minding my own business flying down from Greer,SC to Columbia, SC about 10 miles from the BMW plant, and I see this red thing in on-coming traffic on the expressway, and lo and behold, it was an X6. Still slightly clad/unfinished in the rear (it was all black) but it definately was an X6.

Unable to get a good enough glance to judge it, but it certainly was different. Unable to reach a near-by exit to zoom around and catch it...

But apparently they are out and about the Spartanburg/Greenville corridor...

You had such a good opportunity. Why limit yourself to exit ramps? :dunno:

You will be, once you take it for test drive.

From test drive articles I posted in other thread:
'As if a good ghost took away something from the 2 ton weight of the car, its 4.88 m length and 1.7 m height, the car rushes through the tight curves of the slalom parcour and over the handling course like a slightly bigger 3 series BMW'

Yea, but what about when the X5 and sedans get DPC. How much of a marginal advantage will it have at that point?

X5 will never handle like X6 even after it gets DPC as its not designed to be as sporty. The aerodynamics, design and weight are different.
We are talking SUVs but if you want to compare sedans than the new 2009 7-series will be closet comparison and even that will not be same as F01 will have softer ride.
