Black 50i X6
 

Caught this Black X6 at the International Center for Automotive Research (ICAR) here in town.One of the Bld's in this Business Park is a BMW Research Facility.The car was open so I took a bunch of pic's.I think this car was left over from the Press Launch.Anyway,I'll post up a few pics.BMW seems to cram down our throat the VR TTV8,it was nice to see the V8 in something other than VR.This X6 had the leather dash,real nice.I took some closeups of the leather dash.I'll post a couple of threads.Thanks! I like it.

I like the Chrome line around windows, but somehow it is not possible to order it for 35i. Does someone have some info if it will be available as an option? Because now only Shadow line is an option, and the standard look too cheep, I have seen it on a blac 35d last week and it looks cheap.

Looks good from the front, but that rear:confused:

The sales person I spoke to told me that it is impossible to order. I've ordered teh cheap standard look and hope someone, somewhere will be able to put the Chrome later...

I think the shadow line option will make it more difficult to turn it into Chrome, but then this is just my guessing work...

Anyone can confirm ?

I ordered the Shadow line, from logical point of view it does not make any difference if this or standard trims will be changed to chwome line. At least from the point of close looks to it, it does not make any difference

Why can't I get Sir Mix-A-Lot out of my head when looking at this thing?
