Question would be if they could also add seat belts like the other seats.

The Mod would be good the back seat in my old X5 was great and we even had four people in it s few times.

Don't forget that in addition to not having a seatbelt for the middle position, the headroom is impacted by a couple of inches given the design of the roof. So your 5th passenger better not care about safety and also be pretty short.
