Smartphone Integration
 

What does the smartphone integration option entail? I have a palm, figured bluetooth would do all I need, this is something different?

The smartphone is for people that have a Iphone. Better intergration plus it charges your phone I believe.

I picked up my car yesterday and it has Smart Phone Integration. Is it ready to go for IPOD or do I need a cradle?

You'll need a cradle for whatever phone you are using that is compatible, such as a iPhone.

The purpose of thesmartphone integration is to

1. Allow the phone to be used a a music source
2. Charge the phone
3. Allow the phone to use the roof shark fin for better reception
4. Safely secure the phone in the cradle

Will it work with a blackberry?

Iphone cradle is about $175 ish I think. Not sure which or if blackberrys are supported.

Hey LeMansX5, is Smartphone integration only for the 3G iphone or does it work with other phones?

Don't think it works with Blackberry Curve because my salesperson told me no. Not sure about other models.

My salesperson told me they have the cradle for all Blackberrys except the Storm.
I have smartphone integration and the iPhone 3G cradle, but still can't seem to get the music to work. I have to use the Y Cable for the music.
