Matte brown X6

Someone caught this matte Sepang Bronze (?) X6 on a parking space near Munich. Looks pretty hot in combination with the black wheels and brown interior. Unfortunately only 1 pic was posted. Enjoy ;)

:iagree: ... looks like spray can primer, but everyone has their own bag.

Looks like clay model.

That's disgusting. IMO looks like a giant turd on wheels.

Isn't that the new Puken-matten color?

What is up with flat paint on cars these days? I was up in the Bay Area this weekend and saw a Nissan GTR crossing the Bay Bridge painted flat black primer. I don't think the car was getting prepped for new coat of paint as there were decals and trim applied over the primer paint. I can understand primer paint on a '55 Ford pickup rat rod, but not on a brand new car.

It looked hideous to say the least.

I believe you can have it vinyl wrapped in the color you want, which is cheaper and easy to remove in the future and also does not devalue the car. Seems to be pretty popular these days. I like matte black but I'm not a fan of this brown.

Next up is the Car Wrap stuff that Nascar uses...I'm waiting for BMW's test mule Paisley look, personally.

My dealer (BMW) is currently painting me a sample of Matte Space Gray and I am considering painting my X Matte Space Gray or Black. I will get some pictures posted when I get the sample tomorrow.

This is a picture of a matte Space Grey X5 M-sport which was a one-off for Dutch customer. The job was done by a local paintshop.

Looks very nice IMO. I might go ahead and re-paint my car.

Why do you have to paint it when you can just cover the car with matte color vinyl of your choince as done by many?

It costs the same to repaint the car and do the vinyl. I have already done the vinyl to one of my cars, and in my opinion it is hard to maintain. With even the smallest scratch you must replace the vinyl for that panel. I might go and see a gray vinyl piece and compare it to my matte gray paint sample.

I saw that matte black GTR ....... in fact I've seen it SEVERAL times!! I think it looks absolutely SIIIIIIICK. My cousin loved it. My gf loved it. My 73-year old father even loved it. I think it looks absolutely amazing.
