Replacing fogs with HID... replacing angel eyes..?!

Hey all,

I happen to have a set of Philips HIDs from my Lexus (H11s) which I am planning on placing in the X6. Has anyone replaced the bulbs on their fogs in general or installed HIDs? how are the fig lights removed? I saw some X5 posts but nothing on X6. Any DIY pics are welcomed. Also I am planning on replacing the Angel Eye bubls with LEDs... again any easy way to do this? (I also considered placing HIDs there too but might be overkill, I saw some pics and they are a bit too brigh IMO). another thought that has crossed my mind is getting a set of LEDs on the bumper attached to DRLs... then again I think I will just wait to get the Hamann front facia with quad LEDs.

Thanks

The LEDs are just a thought... but HID fogs do help esp. in incliment weather... I am not a big fan of the "yellow" bulb look... IMO BMW should of made the angel eyes white from factory... That is about as much as I am willing to accomplish at this time... HID Fogs first... or maybe I will do nothing at all.. we shall see... I don't think the audi looks like a christmas tree though the two doors approach Hyundai with the side "wave" but so does the 1 series bimmers.... yikes that is an ugly vehicle...

so I nstalled the HID Fogs 6000k Philips bulbs.. look great... Capacitor harnesses were used and I am having some intermittent issues with bulb out warning.. I am hoping to fix this today with resistors installed in parallel.. I will update you guys on this and take some pics.....
