Performance paackage
 

Was the performance package ever available in the US??You know the one that gives the 5.0 a 40 HP boost.Ive heard talk of it all over these forums but its not on any of the pricing sheets nor is it on the bmw usa website...just wondering as I was trying to figure out if they were going to offer it on the 2011 X-5 when the put the 5.0 engine in...if it was not available in the us for the X-6 then unlikely it will be available initially with the X-5...maybe thye will add it for the X-6 in The usa first for 2011
then bring it to the X-5 next year or something....

I have it on my 2010 X6 50i. I think it was a $1200 option. Well worth it. This thing is a beast. She just goes and goes.

And you are correct. It is not on the website as an option when you try to build your own.

It's called the 7RR package. It became available starting with the 2010 MY, and the price is $1500.00. Well worth the extra 40hp. I have it on mine.
